I disagree, the hang is a nice touch. It was never one of my favourites but I like this version more. Also, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish she'd stop performing I See Who You Are. I love this song dearly - both the album and the Volta live versions are so beautiful and rich. But for some reason, I find the Vulnicura version bland and boring.
now that is one weird concert review...I'm back from the concert!
Unfortunately it was really terrible, I regretted going. I would rather have stayed home.
This was my first concert (and indeed non- as well) ever so I don't have any comparisons to make but I felt a lot of energy from her. Her dancing was on point, she said all her little gratsies at the end of each song and of course her voice was spectacular.
The dress was really beautiful and made me think about Angelina as well, especially as it was a bit windy so it showed a bit more than intended.
Arca was dressed in what I'm firmly convinced was a bathrobe.
Mouth Mantra was simply stellar!
^I think it was just being playful - saying it was awful so Faber wouldn't feel bad...
Yep, I was just joking^I think it was just being playful - saying it was awful so Faber wouldn't feel bad...
Yes, it was obvious!
Yep, I was just joking
or from ma-ri-ah...or maybe she let some kebab sauce on her yellow dress and she had to borrow a dress from arca?
Emanuel Ungaro is so not Arca this is the masks summer tour maybe later on when she gets more used to these songs the masks will be goneor maybe she let some kebab sauce on her yellow dress and she had to borrow a dress from arca?
mutual core:
That's just AMAZING, I actually synchronized them with the video with the best quality and the far vid with the best audio, can some kind soul make this mash up? I don't know howSome Youtube videos:
She introduced the band on some dates in NY, others not. She definitely did on the 7th and 25th (you can hear her on the various recordings from those shows) and I believe she also did on the 28th when I saw her live.Surprised she introduced the band. She didn't in NY and it seemed a bit rude Glad she's feeling more comfortable to talk now
the cover art is ready
mamathe cover art is ready
Hahaha nooo, the says grazie in italian :3does she say "merci" after mutual core?
maybe its because I'm not a native speaker but throatpiece sounds so funny...a throatpiece
I kind of like this more openly emotional or sensuous dress. And I really hope she is healed.But... red? RED?? R E DDD?? ??
That is like the complete opposite of the Vulnicura theme! Does this mean she's completely healed?
I second thisCan someone download and safe all of these videos? I'd like to get them all once I'll be able but I'm afraid BjörkSS will take them down
That clapping, screaming, dancing, -emotional feedback- is what's making her tolerate and even enjoy more the songThough, during Black Lake I would have preferred a completely silent audience, especially during the "pauses", but that's just my opinion
Well, I haven't seen Black Lake live (yet? ) but I would regard it as the most challenging song in that you have to "endure" the pauses like the emotional pain during a break-up … but these are just my pseudo-psychological thoughts about itThat clapping, screaming, dancing, -emotional feedback- is what's making her tolerate and even enjoy more the songThough, during Black Lake I would have preferred a completely silent audience, especially during the "pauses", but that's just my opinion
From James Merry Facebook: "I'm sooo honoured to have made this new headpiece really closely with Björk, from a design that she made. during the current tour she showed me a sketch for an idea - a new headpiece that would put her vocal cords in the centre, with lines radiating out from them... so after a few embroidery experiments, this new vocal cord headpiece was born !? #björk #vulnicura #embroidery
