Studio album covers ranked:

Image (I love her newest cover! It's just so deep and atmospheric. My new favourite)
:album8: (This one is still totally awesome. Suits the raw nature of the album)
:album6: (Very pretty and elegant, just like the album)
:album2: (Colourful, which goes well with the musical variety of Post. Also like the expression)
:album4: (Odd and unsettling, but it does look like the "warrior of love" Bjork describes)
:album11: (It fits, but a bit too busy and unfocused)
:album10: (silly and tacky, doesn't fit the album as much as the single covers did)
:album1: (Cute, but very bland and uninteresting)

I thought it was in a studio, I could have sworn I saw a picture of Björk in the studio with all the pictures behind her. Also I remember reading somewhere that she specifically chose the pictures behind her.
Maybe I imagined reading that...

Edit: I found the photo http://www.bjork.fr/Stephane-Sednaoui-Post-Photoshoot#

I believe that's on a street. In some of the outtakes on Sednaoui's instagram you can see the sky in the background ex)https://instagram.com/p/0OauWpEM-o/?tak ... nesednaoui And yeah she did choose the pictures!

interesting how high :album8: is placed
Not for just the graphics, either. Best vocal performances ever. Luminous!
Enjoy Live set from Canal+ https://vimeo.com/30684437

But can't beat Telegram cover for pure wealth of suggestive imagery, although Volta makes every effort to be just as endearing. Rest are pretty much equal in terms of setting specific moods.

:album3:
Breaks through restraints and shackles of what fans expect in terms of "sticking to the original versions" by producing a whole new set of originals. It's just so subversive, yet sometimes overlooked or summarily dismissed. Personally, I had heard but skipped buying Debut and Post CDs until after blindly buying unheard Telegram, which convinced me that I needed to buy both of these genius works.

Had followed career since KUKL, so owned everything through 'Cubes, when we briefly met. As with all arts, patrons develop a relationship from afar with stars who appear in person and connect with supporters. Still rate among my favorite "products" the ROH and Volumen DVDs, both of which had great packaging.

I thought it was her too when I first started listening to her music, but then after noticing the person on the cover was a dwarf with a mustache, and after watching the movie, I realized it wasn't her

During the Cetacea sequence. He plays a bit with his petroleum jelly hose on the chunk of ambergris. It probably has some deep meaning that we can't understand. Cos Matthew was always stuck in complexity, you know!

Visited an American city specifically to view DR9 in a museum. We had plans to eat sushi after, but lost our appetite during the flensing finale. DR9 CD is not exactly the same music in the film. Petrolatum spirit never showed in film, either. But the pearl divers did. Pearls are a symbol of something organic, but rather not go into that here.

i voted for volta, it was the one who impressed me most at first time, i very often catchy myself hypnotized by the colorful fruitsuit contrasting with the flaming red background. besides, it fits perfetly the "nature meets electronic" vibe, if its right to dfine this allbum like this.

i like debut cover mery much too. it captures the moment of her work. it has simplicity, sort of a stratch, waiting for the colours, effects...., but its still cativating, strong, i love how it feels like she's looking straight to you without any production...
i love the movement, as well as the colours of post, its like she was in the eye of a hurricane, idk.

my least favorite is medulla i guess...

her shape is intriguing
like she is inviting me to learn about the universe from the tiniest of miracles from the crystalline structures she holds to the big vast galaxies in her hair
and music with her harp
i can imagine every song fitting to the image, it's definitely magical
