This is exactly the problem with way forum works. People only check the POTD, but when nobody posts to a thread and you close your visit, thread vanishes when next you visit. So you have to bump a thread continually to get attention.

I think that one thing that would help in the new 4um is a "general" section. Sometimes I have to look for threads in the news and sections for a lot of time before I'll find what I'm looking for. There just isn't a place for general purpose threads about .

An Echo A Stain, Harm Of Will and especially Heirloom - good songs but Generous Palmstroke should have replaced Heirloom on Vespertine (just my opinion though...)

Playing with the idea of clogging POTD with posts that end with me as last contributor. So far it's working.

I feel like you're hanging on to the idea that people aren't seeing your posts and that's why you're not getting the feedback you want/you think you deserve.
More often than not, they go on off topic tangents and that's why people don't really give them a lot of attention (imo).
Why don't you just try to make your own thread in Off Topic, about things that you feel you need to educate people about? As its own contained thing that's not spread out all over the place, I'd certainly be more inclined to contribute and engage. Maybe others feel the same way...
It doesn't even have to be just one... it could one be an Off Topic one and then an On Topic one about things that is into that you also find interesting and important. That way, you'd only need to bump two threads, not a lot of topics that may be less relevant, just so that people see one post in them.

Why? Debut was classified as some kind of undefinable music back then.

When Post was announced, I couldn't imagine there would be another album changing my acoustic perception as much as Debut had done to me.

Craig McLean's article in The Face Magazine described several songs (Isobel as "Broadway on breakbeats" and It's Oh So Quiet as "A Blast"). Because of that I was impatiently looking forward to listening to the album. When I finally listened to Post for the first time, I was so disappointed. Isobel. Breakbeats??? I couldn't hear any breakbeats. It's Oh So Quiet a blast??? It was only horrible.

BUT Post was like the point of no return. Once I got into it, a life without Björk's music was not possible anymore...and she still opens new musical chapters for me.

Then the center stage, she was so close and in the middle of everything. One more reason I enjoyed it so much was the return of Björk's crystal clear voice after surgery.
