I don't see how it could be solved. The POTD is a feature (and an awesome one), not a bug, and it's only supposed to highlight new replies. Bumping a thread continually to get attention, now that's a bug and not a feature.True, maybe this issue will be solved with the next 4um release. This is exactly the problem with way forum works. People only check the POTD, but when nobody posts to a thread and you close your visit, thread vanishes when next you visit. So you have to bump a thread continually to get attention.
hahanot 100% sure, but as the moderator of this forum is very keen on receiving answers to this thread, I assume, that this info will be used for the Björk retrospective at the MoMA New York...everyone simply has to answer the survey to keep this thread alive.
I think that one thing that would help in the new 4um is a "general" section. Sometimes I have to look for threads in the news and sections for a lot of time before I'll find what I'm looking for. you're cleverer than i thought
but you're not 100% right
alas, i cannot say more...

yes sure do what you want with itYeeee I knew there was something behind all of this! I'm allowed to change some responses mod?
well well... never underestimate Björk 4umers...haha
you're cleverer than i thought
thanks for sharing further info re. this survey... in times of mr. Snowden and the NSA it was good to slightly abandon the "can't tell you more"-secrecy-policy...this is nothing official (yet)
i was discussing moma with "someone" lately
and we were talking about content
so this survey came to mind
if participation is high, i might be able to use
or not
this is a try out
when did you become a björk fan then?era: Vespertine, I wish I had known about her in that era, but i was just so little.
which ones exactly?b-side: Generous Palmstroke / Definitely surpasses some songs on Vespertine
(released)
An Echo A Stain, Harm Of Will and especially Heirloom - good songs but Generous Palmstroke should have replaced Heirloom on Vespertine (just my opinion though...)which ones exactly?b-side: Generous Palmstroke / Definitely surpasses some songs on Vespertine

It's .^
If this theory continues from onwards I am really curious about the next release.
But then again, we all are.
that's just how forums workThis is exactly the problem with way forum works. People only check the POTD, but when nobody posts to a thread and you close your visit, thread vanishes when next you visit. So you have to bump a thread continually to get attention.
the news section has always been used a a general section

I feel like you're hanging on to the idea that people aren't seeing your posts and that's why you're not getting the feedback you want/you think you deserve.Playing with the idea of clogging POTD with posts that end with me as last contributor. So far it's working.that's just how forums workThis is exactly the problem with way forum works. i really don't get what you point is ... You can clog the first page all you want, I still can see all posts that happened since my last connection . You just made it longer to read , but I never miss anything on the 4um ... I'm really confused about what you're doingPlaying with the idea of clogging POTD with posts that end with me as last contributor. I'm working on mine. If making an album is as difficult as this task, then I know why it's always taking so longmore surveys please
oooh i thought you did it on purpose to prove some kind of point, childishly... SorryFor one brief moment I seemed like the only one on the forum with 10 threads ended with my contribution. That so seldom happens it was amusing and disconcerting all at once. Plus it repeats what Moderator and I were saying about bumping worthy threads.i really don't get what you point is ... You can clog the first page all you want, I still can see all posts that happened since my last connection . You just made it longer to read , but I never miss anything on the 4um ... Memorabilia
That's the best part of this thread for me. Reading all the random anedoctes you all have is really interesting and in some way heartwarming.Anyway, I didn't mean to make it such a long reply, that's why I didn't elaborate on my choices, because every one has a story haha.
sameIt's like when they ask you : "Who do you prefer? Your mom or your dad?"
I will think about it and then post
