In such a short period of time since the cancellation, getting even a pre-made Orkestral gig together would have been a financial, logistic and marketing nightmare (for a country with such small, limited infrastructure). So, I can't say i'm surprised by this being just a DJ set.

Still... the cornucopia tickets are being refunded. So on the bright side, not many people going to Iceland for a mini break can say they got an exclusive, free private DJ set from Björk as well <3

Just my opinion but so many musicians in iceland I feel she still could have pulled something very simple and intimate together. oh well, it is what it is... :duck: :blackduck:

it's just björk shuffling her spotify. it's obsolete for 2023.

such a shame! i can't say that i'd be happy to swap a live concert of hers with a dj set but i guess they've tried their best.

i understand the disappointment about the cancellations.

she made a big effort to do something for the fans instead, and still, so many people seem to be very disappointed by the dj set offer. of course, going to one of her dj sets is not giving the same level of excitement as going to one of her concerts. but planning just another kind of concert (orkestral, utopia, ...) in such a short time is probably impossible and way too expensive.

so let's keep in mind:
When concerts are cancelled, you usually get nothing.

many concerts have been postponed or cancelled in the past, without any "substitute" event. I'd be very happy about a dj set for free, compared to having nothing at all. just my thoughts.

Looks like they’re doing 4 dj sets on two days. I got an email for the 7th, and some people got one for the 13th at Höfuðstöðin. Two sets on both days
