Björk Greatest Hits DMM (2008) vs reissues

is there anyone who can weigh in on how the sound compares across these releases?

I would love for the quality to be the same as the 2008 Homogenic and Vespertine DMM reissues that I own, but if the difference is negligible between the 2008/2010 release and the 2015 one, or even the 2017 non-DMM release, I'd rather not pay the 150 euro difference in price.


The 2008 one and the 2010 reissue are both pressed on 200 g vinyl.

The 2015 reissue (140 g) seems to be pressed from the same DMM copperplate and is getting great reviews as well.

The 2017 reissue seems to be a new cut, not DMM, but people seem to be happy with this release as well.

I believe only the 2008 release was 200g

but the only 200g DMM I have in my personal collection is the Joga single
so I cannot weigh in on the sound quality question here unfortunately

according to discogs both the 2008 and 2010 reissue should be on 200 g vinyl

Personally, i don't think weight dictates quality

The DMM version is top notch… perfect in every way, at least my copy is. No cracks or pops, no sibylance (even in the center tracks). Just a marvel

Ive had the 2005 and 2010 versions, they were both horrible.
