Anyway i was still thinking about the petition and while i do agree it's not a project björk has chosen to do, i think oli might suggest her the idea. I think anartist like her is usually looking at the future so that means creating new music. It is not common an artist decides to look back at her catalogue of variations and unreleased music.
So hopefully one day this may happen (fingers crossed)

the only project from this list i have hope to be released in a somewhat near future is the collab with meredith monk, aside from that, björk herself doesn't even acknowledges these unreleased stuff too often so let alone release them... maybe in some decades when sindri decides to make bank off her mom's music

i could see it as a big project like family tree, with different versions of songs or unreleased songs.for example, putting different versions together would give a new perspective of "reality", like a polyhedron. polyhedrica as a title haha.

she could release the recordings of the reykjavík leg of the orkestral shows for that. They would be such a treat! The choir night was one of her best concerts ever if you ask me.

in her old website meesterfly said she recorded a cover of "jericho" by joni mitchell together with "the boho dance", so i assume this covers album was done around 1999 with guy gigsworth??

if i could bet on some other songs she would cover i'd say "my only child" by nico, "veil like calm" by eyeless in gaza, maybe something by kate bush ?

ages ago she was rumoured to have recorded kate bush’s “moving”—not sure how reliable this was but then again, “the boho dance” was also only a rumour until it appeared on that compilation a few years later. “jericho” seems also like a probable pick, she apparently loves don juan’s reckless daughter

she was also sent some vocal stems by billy mackenzie’s father and if i remember correctly she tried to do some sort of duet/cover/rework of “no” but backed out out of respect (which i think she admitted in some interview—perhaps a deep dive into the bjork.fr press archive would help)

just a rumour i think, some people assumed this because sega bodega, sideproject and lsdxoxo dj'ed at the fossora release party in london in 2022, and the first two premiered their remixes there, so it was assumed that lsdxoxo would also make a remix for the third single. honestly a lsdxoxo remix of ancestress would be really odd lol
