i always bring up how for vespertine, she deliberately sought out sounds like whispering, harp and music boxes because they wouldn't be compromised by the low bitrate of napster downloads. every other major artist was trying to sue these file-sharing companies, and instead she's thinking about how to give fans on napster the best listening experience!! genius
