A few days ago my local arthouse/indie cinema teased a pre-release screening of a concert film that’s about “more than just music” coming on March 30th. They didn’t reveal the name of the artist yet, apparently it’s going to be properly announced later this month—only suggested it’s going to be a big deal, so obviously my mind went to Cornucopia (unless there is some other arty audio-visual concert film by a big-name singer coming soon that I’m not aware of!)

the description from The Guardian, "arranged to celebrate a lifetime of creative innovation" gives me Bjork Orkestral livestream vibes... we'll find out in 6 days but i hope it's something we don't already have.

the easy option would be the cornucopia film. with all the stuff apple and Bjork are doing together, an exclusive concert film for a major/minor streamer wouldn't be a far fetched idea

I think if she had filmed a brand new performance we would have heard something about it by now. I assume it’s either going to be some live thing we already have (just remixed in atmos) or the article got really confused about the New Year’s Eve DJ set, and that’s why they deleted it.

I think that whatever they did, it would have been impossible to replicate the immersive element of the show. Arisen live for me was like a wave of sound and color, i could literally feel the song on my skin. of course a movie version was always going to be a bi-dimensional experience. anyway the photography and color correction look wonderful, can't wait to see the whole thing
