Anyway i was still thinking about the petition and while i do agree it's not a project björk has chosen to do, i think oli might suggest her the idea. I think anartist like her is usually looking at the future so that means creating new music. It is not common an artist decides to look back at her catalogue of variations and unreleased music.
So hopefully one day this may happen (fingers crossed)

ages ago she was rumoured to have recorded kate bush’s “moving”—not sure how reliable this was but then again, “the boho dance” was also only a rumour until it appeared on that compilation a few years later. “jericho” seems also like a probable pick, she apparently loves don juan’s reckless daughter

she was also sent some vocal stems by billy mackenzie’s father and if i remember correctly she tried to do some sort of duet/cover/rework of “no” but backed out out of respect (which i think she admitted in some interview—perhaps a deep dive into the bjork.fr press archive would help)

Björk’s diary note from the moma restrospective reads “sungið hátt í röddinni þannig að maður næstum nær ekki nótunum” (something like “sung so loudly that you can't even reach the notes”).
And the lyrics goes “give me the comfort even though it doesn’t feel right”.

I tried the notes on my piano and it doesn’t sound like anything I know.

yes! i'm actually currently working on transcribing every notebook displayed in the moma exhibition. her handwriting is harddddd to understand sometimes (especially in cursive and icelandic). do you mind checking your pms? i would highly appreciate that

The song “Takk” made by Björk together with DJ Þórhallur Skúlason for the soundtrack of Óskar Jónasson’s movie “Sódóma Reykjavík” was originally meant to be on Debut and was remixed but the remixes never saw the light of the day.

I found this little interview with Þórhallur (aka Ajax) from June, 1992 with this titbit of information that I didn’t know:

This is technically Debut material - around the time The Sugarcubes were disbanding Björk was already looking for collaborators within the dance music scene to work with on her solo project (808 State, Simon Lovejoy, Þórhallur Skúlason...) while testing her electronic side with the remixer appearing on The Sugarcubes’ It’s-It album (Justin Robertson, Tony Humphries, Graham Massey, Todd Terry...). Ultimately, she settled on with Nellee Hooper for Debut and save up Massey for Post.

She sang it at a private party after the concert of French pianist Mattias Mimoun at Le Baron Club in France on 14/03/2007. It's all improvised, not really a performance - Björk was just having fun.
