Hey fellow :logo: -ers.

Let us all discuss and share our experiences from the 3rd of july gig here instead of making a +100000 page long thread for all the gigs :):)

So who is going tomorrow ??

I kinda like the idea of separating the gig review threads like this, it is easier to keep track of imho. I really wish the gigography was back up - I could spend hours reading reviews of concerts back in the day :P

I look forward to everyone's reviews for the new concerts, but don't forgot the majority of the world only gets to experience it vicariously through you (so don't forget to take lots of photos, videos, and audio recordings  )

I just came out and boy that place was like an oven. Not sure how Bjork coped with that wig.

The whole show was pretty amazing. Bjork just makes singing look so effortless.
Of the new stuff 'Crystalline' and 'Mutual Core' stood out for me.

'It's not up to you', 'One day' and 'Joga' where other high points.

No 'All is full of love' though. :(

14- where is the line
15- mutual core

I'm back!

What a gig! I managed to get a glimpse of her backstage before it all started

I'm so lucky, she did all my favourites, Isobel, Hidden Place and Joga. I'll post a proper review later, I'm listening back to my recording now :hyper:

Oh, don't get too excited. I have no idea how to record a gig properly. I got a new mobile phone this week with a record feature so I thought I would give it a go, not really caring how crummy it recorded, just to have a little momento of it. And I'm pleased I do.

It came out 12kbps!! :dizzy: So I won't bother sharing unless anyone really wants it.

Ok, but it's not very good!

This was actually supposed to be my backup recording, my iPod was going to record this higher quality but when I got out of the gig I saw that the iPod had run out of space and had deleted the file >:(

So I was left with this.

Part one is the Attenborough introduction before she entered the stage, right up to the end of Moon.

Part two is everything from Mouths Cradle to the end, sorry I did miss four songs in between when I tried to take a video (thinking the iPod would get that bit >:( )

Notice the guy starting singing 'It's not up to you' at 16.50 on part two, I wonder if he had inside info or just an amazing guess!!

thank you very much for the effort !
as you said sound quality is questionable, but it's always good to have a file to remember the gig ;)

you got joga?? not fair!!!!!! >:(

i was at the show on the 30th and she played All Is Full Of Love and ended with Nattura, and she didn't play unravel or joga. joga was always my favourite (but recently i think it's become mouth's cradle) also i met someone who was only going to the one show too and her favourite song was unravel!

but i can't complain, i'm very grateful for all the songs she played for us
