YES. Something with her voice and sounds from 1983 and cosmogrammaBjörk and Flying Lotus
A lot of great artists in there (I'd really love a Massive Attack remix), some of them having a lot of common ground withSift through and tell me what you think.
A lot of great artists in there (I'd really love a Massive Attack remix), some of them having a lot of common ground withSift through and tell me what you think., but some simply don't feel like they're on the same planet as her.
For instance, Kylie... She's been doing the same let's dance! and dance can be a metaphor for love! songs for the past 15 years, hitting a new low with Sexercize on her latest album. I just don't see what she could bring on the table in a collaboration withexcept sultry vocals...
Whoa that sounds interesting. I'd like to get deets on this as well. I love his music that's too bad. Also, Moby andwill never work together. He already asked her, and she said no, and he was offended. I can't find the exact quote, but he was really dismissive about her after she rejected his offer to "jam" and do a... "metal" album together? Something along those lines.
Does anyone remember what I'm talking about and can post the exact quote with a source?
If you ever do, don't skip the bonus tracks and b-sides. Sparks, Golden Boy and Crystallize are better than almost every song that ended up on the album. Actually Golden Boy is even better than most of Aphrodite for me... Unfortunately, it's a vinyl only track.I love her music but I see your point on that. I was thinking 90s early 2000s kylie when I put her. I have not heard her new album yet unfortunately.
i knew 46 of themWelcome to my desired collaboration(s).
I compiled a long list so bear with me.
Sift through and tell me what you think.

Okay well thats all i could think of off the top of my head and alphabetize.
Soo Björk If you Read the 4um I'd LOVE any collabs with any of these artists so thanks!
Well I use spotify and just used my artist page (1500+) to inspire me. Only picked the ones I could see a collab from.but didn't you just basically copy-and-paste your music library? If not, please elaborate how do you see Björk working with the likes of Florence + the Machine, Lady Gaga, Tame Imapala, Death Cab for Cutie or f*cking Birdy. What exactly could they bring to the table? I don't think they have one musical bone in their bodies in common.

No I got nothing to do with this one... here's a youtube clip www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaMpHE99cI0^our? Are you behind this invention? If so...it looks incredibly cool! And something a straightforward artist like Björk could use!
That stuff is really nice! Thanks for sharing.Linda Perhacs!
"The incredible story of the dental hygienist Linda Perhacs who as a young woman in 1970 published a groundbreaking album which nobody noticed. Half a century later she discovered that it had gone worldwide on the Internet."

I think you missed the hardest collaboration of them all tbhIf not, please elaborate how do you see Björk working with the likes of Florence + the Machine, Lady Gaga, Tame Imapala, Death Cab for Cutie or f*cking Birdy.
That would require some impressive new technology.Joy Division
Even if the world didn't experience it that way, their collaborative session came before Nelly Furtado's platinum piece of shit album which basically ruined Timbaland's reputation (for some, including myself).Anyway, you never know with. After all she did collaborate with Timbaland... and I liked the results, too.
I didn't know this. I was a bit standoffish of Volta for this very reason.Even if the world didn't experience it that way, their collaborative session came before Nelly Furtado's platinum piece of shit album which basically ruined Timbaland's reputation (for some, including myself).Anyway, you never know with. I'm not saying they're bad artists. I mean, I looove Tame Impala but I just can't see Björk working with a psychedelic band, for instance. Dirty Projectors actually share a lot of melodic sensibilities with Björk (I mean both leading melodies and arrangements/countermelodies), so the collaboration wasn't that unlikely - at least I wasn't surprised at all.I see it as not having to have Similar Production ability or Use of lyrical art but rather where they can have a common ground on musical inspiration and appreciation. [...] They are all good and respectable artists in their own category. Just cause you don't appreciate their style doesn't mean nothing good can come from them just even contributing to her music.
Yeah, missed that one.I think you missed the hardest collaboration of them all tbh

I'm not a fan of her big hit(s?), but I'm Waiting Here with David Lynch is amazing.I think a Lykke Li collab would be cool.
At first I thought she was Amy Winehouse^Gaga looks strangely great with that wig![]()
Definitely, waiting for "When Björk met Bush (and not George W.^^Björk ft. Kate NEEDS to happen! Let's hope B stalked Kate to the backstage at her concert

my dreams will finally come true and life will be complete.I think Missy Elliot would work really well. They both love electronic and distorted beats.
Ooo those all sound good (: I wonder if they got similar connects. I could see something from them being a chart topper.I'm still on the idea ofdo a collaboration with either Erykah Badu, Macy Gray, or Missy Elliott (imagine that video)...
You mean the last band you mentioned? What are they? Did you see her at their concert? When?I know she likes them because she was on their gig in Iceland.
FEVER RAY! would match Arca's sound too.

Yes Kemialliset Ystävät they are actually quite famous in Iceland they play kinda weird avant-garde music with visuals. They did even Iceland Airwaves 2-3 times already and been there on just gigs as well. I know the guy who helps them to do the visuals and the guys from the band told him 2-3 years ago that Björk was on their gig and asked them at the after-show did one beat come from recording while walking on snow? And they said yes and then Björk said we got something in common! Because she did that on ''Aurora''. But I don't know the people from the band at all because they live in North-Finland.You mean the last band you mentioned? What are they? Did you see her at their concert? When?I know she likes them because she was on their gig in Iceland.
