- Tappi Tíkarass. Love KUKL and Sugarcubes, kind of like Gling-Gló.Just because you're a fan of it doens't mean you have to care about everything she's done.
So this is the place to share those things. You don't like them, but you don't hate them either, because... well, they exist but you don't care.
My list:
- All the pre- stuff. I really don't care about KULK, Sugarcubes, etc. Only exception: "Gling-Glò", because I love jazz.
- The "Drawing Restraint 9" film. I like the score, but the film just doesn't interest me.
- The apps. I love the album, but I'm very old school in terms of technology. I don't have tablets or smartphones, so I missed every iStuff has made. I'm stuck in 2004.
What about you?
I absolutely love that remix, something with LIFE in it! There is only one other remix I care for from but can't even think of the name right now.But I must admit, I'm shocked at the lack of love for Omar Souleyman's take on "Crystalline"! It's such a fun track!
Ultimate Art Edition: I have to say I don't get the appeal of it. especially when I could buy with the money a flight ticket, hotel room and concert ticket to see björk live
I can totally relate to your replies.I don't care about Bjork's fashion icon dimension
I don't react to her saying she likes some art by checking it and falling in love with it immediately
How will I sing us out of the drama you're creating?vespertine - Homogenic - medulla
meh.
I'd like to say Mouth Mantra
Have to agree with these two - most of and most of. Some of the remixes do something interesting or surprising, some of the (soundboard) bootlegs are worth listening to. Fanmade stuff is not really my cup of tea but I certainly understand and respect people's desire to create something Björky.-Most remixes (I happen to love the Souleyman )
-Most unofficial stuff (bootlegs & fanmade)
- The Debut and Army of Me remixes albums
- In terms of songs - I'd like to say Mouth Mantra but maybe it's too early, uh?
- A lot of b-sides and rarities which I probably only listened to once
-
make ha reevaluate ha life choices- A lot of b-sides and rarities which I probably only listened to once

They are like the best albums though!vespertine - Homogenic - medulla
meh.
I wasn't surprised, since nobody believes that coming from your mouth.I was expecting more uproar with my very obvious trolling
what do you know about what's in my mouth?I wasn't surprised, since nobody believes that coming from your mouth.I was expecting more uproar with my very obvious trolling
Ok I fell l for that one! I was gonna say?! LolI was expecting more uproar with my very obvious trolling
Noooooo !You' ve been flirting again
Some of her live stuff is REALLY good. Homogenic live is great, and Björk live at the vessel is absolutely amazing. But I didn't really like Biophilia livelive albums
It's In Our Hands on Vespertine Live is my favourite version of the song imoSome of her live stuff is REALLY good. Homogenic live is great, and Björk live at the vessel is absolutely amazing. But I didn't really like Biophilia livelive albums
100% agreeA lot of Medulla. Even though I love Oceania and who is it and desired constellation, it just got a bit too much. Literally no chorus or verse, ancestors is nice up until the point where the throat singer sounds like she is vomiting.
I appreciate how much hard work went into it, but it's not my favourite album

Kind of. I think I haven't assimilated her so fundamentally into the core of my being that I'm bored, or irritated by missteps, but I have enough to be enchanted and beguiled. I don't have much to offer to this thread but I agree with a couple of (e.g. Burnface's) points.I don't know if it's just me, but I like pretty much everything she has done, if I take the time to get it...
Volta
HahaCollaborations with Antony Hegarty
*Her. Just have to point that out.VoltaHahaCollaborations with Antony Hegarty
I was asked for honesty
I HATE that I hate Volta. I must have played it in its entirety six times at most. I'm not dismissive of it though, I try at least once every six months. Most of the time it infuriates me so much that I just have to turn it off within the first minute of Innocence. Some songs have merit but the album as as a whole is unbearable. I'm getting angry at the though of it!
Antony- nothing against him. His voice just isn't for me.
Skip Innocence. I do! You did say that some songs have merit. Make yourself a Volta playlist with those. I've shown you my Volta playlist, 3 songs short, 38 minutes of bliss, but you probably didn't give it a try. And that's okay.I HATE that I hate Volta.
