that's lovely... thanks... could you eventually put a little black frame around it?...the vulnicura icon is ready ( ) but hasn't been uploaded yet.
go ahead and use it if you like, but for the time being you'll have to insert it manually as an image.
sorry about that.
i hope it will get added soon.

Indeed, I had to tilt my screen to see that it was square shaped.

-i don't know about you constellation, but I have found I need bjork-music-breaks every year or so, maybe a few years. This is in my opinion is the best way to fully absorb albums on repeated listens; to have breaks away from them to really appreciate them. Even though for instance debut is the most played album if you listened to that first when it came out, if you moved on and didn't listen to it for a while having listened to the next album and so on and so on, when you do finally rediscover it, (as like I do before a new album comes out I have a review of all the past ones by listening to them again in a retrospective like moma is effectively) you will find you appreciate it more, because you have forgotten how it sounds, since time has passed between listens. And maybe you hear it more, or pick up on stuff you didn't at first. This is why I buy albums physically, so I dont constantly listen to them, as I feel it wears them out and I don't want to do that with my favourite albums. Anyway to cut a long story short, that is what I do, and it seems to work for me. Thought it might help. That was far more difficult than I expected. I must have been ready to post this and then decided to make another change to my list at least ten times!
I think Vulnicura is too new to rank fairly right now.
I could see it swapping places with Post but the subject matter is ultimately why I have ranked it lower, even though I've been listening to it constantly since its release.
I'm just not sure that it will have the same longevity as the other albums for me.
I really like Debut, but I'm a bit worn out with it at the moment. I think it feels quite dated now - but that's not a bad thing - sometimes that's exactly what I want to listen to.
While I'm more likely to play Biophilia or Volta than Debut right now, those are my least-loved of the studio albums; but there are still many tracks that I really like from both of them.
I'm not really a fan of the soundtracks (perhaps I just need to spend more time with them) and I don't think compilations/remix albums should count for this.
So as far as the main studio albums are concerned:
Ask again another day, and I could give a completely different answer though.
I think whether I prefer Vespertine over Homogenic, or Medúlla over Post depends entirely on my current mood.
Love that. Love that it's on its own for you at the top after all these years.
Homogenic is a classic. It is a breakthrough in music. After 300 years, it will be in the schoolbooks of music history.Love that. Love that it's on its own for you at the top after all these years.
I agree with your list. I would say the same actually.Actually I've changed my mind
Albums where every track is sheer perfection
1. Vespertine
2. Homogenic
3. Post
Very good albums that aren't quite perfect
4. Vulnicura
5. Debut
6. Medulla
Albums with some good tracks and some not so good
7. Volta
8. Biophilia
Yes! I think the same! Love it, sooo ahead of it's time! After this album, I feel she wasn't as ahead of the game being forward thinking and breaking boundries in music like she had up until that point. The world started to catch up. Not that her music wasn't exemplary anyway, as its always going to be better than the rest, but still, I think by then the cutting edge had started to erode...I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. I just remember thinking that by the time dancer in the dark had come along...Homogenic is a classic. It is a breakthrough in music. Pretty much still the same but it's more like:

Sorry, I have no time for half of that record! There are some gems, though ("Mutual Core"! "Crystalline"! "Cosmogony"!) but I hardly ever listen to it from the beginning to the end.The I Don't Really Listen to These Tier:

Interesting, "Mutual Core" is the one I skip the most. It's a great track, a standout one even. But I feel like I'm not in the mood for it most of the time.Sorry, I have no time for half of that record! There are some gems, though ("Mutual Core"! "Crystalline"!
