I don't think so. who is it, triumph of heart, wanderlust for example are so great !also theres some gems in there… is it me or, do you also think björk's video output went kind of downhill after her Greatest Hits?
I would agree in general. But consider also the decrease in importance of videos as marketing instrument, the decreased marketing budgets and the greatly diminished role of channels like MTV. The 90s were best for nusic videos.also theres some gems in there… is it me or, do you also think björk's video output went kind of downhill after her Greatest Hits?
seriously .. do you prefer play dead over all those great videos in your pollalso theres some gems in there… is it me or, do you also think björk's video output went kind of downhill after her Greatest Hits?
^ (sorry but) THISThe Dull Flame of Desire is the only bad video of her career imo
THIS RIGHT HERELet me just take this footage of Björk and Antony, make it black and white (no gray) and turn the contrast to 100%. It's so god damn awful, I wanna break something!
Well, excluding Wanderlust it was a bit of a visual lowpointlucky for some of this videos that we have the volta music videos lol
I cannot decide whether it is Declare Independence or Crystalline.Well, excluding Wanderlust it was a bit of a visual lowpointlucky for some of this videos that we have the volta music videos lol![]()
Like, even the work with Ocelot and Gondry felt lackluster then
Am I the only one thinking that Declare Independence is the worst BjorkGondry video?
why are triumph of a heart, who is it, mutual core and hollow on here?!
true.tbh medulla era was great with oceania being the weakest but still enjoyable. true desired constellation shouldnt be qualified a video but then it was once considered a video so for the sake of objectivity i have included in the poll. volta era was mostly a disaster starting with that tragic earth intruders, then more tragic competition, then disappointing declare independence, only to be saved by wanderlust. not even gonna discuss how bad TDFOD is again. biophilia era vids are almost non existent, save mutual core. all this truly screams how much budget seems to have shrinked since the 80s/90s. additionally i saw black lake @ moma and it doesnt live up to its expectation. the marcel duchamp inspired trailer (which is nowhere to be seen in the exhibitiob) is way better than this self complacent poorly filmed vid. andrew huang doesnt know neither how to light nor to direct, so it just feels like a totally wasted opportunity at a great video.
Grumpy, old Man!a tie between Play dead and Black lake
(dull flame and innocence don't even exist for me)
