I don't have the list saved and I can't think of all of them right now.
As for Apricot, which biography? Does it have reliable sources?

'Apricot' was a fake title floating around back in 2007. It was made up by someone here.

Here's a few Martin ...
THANKS! This is what I was looking for... maybe we could post additions to this list in this thread...

New:

Volta = Voltage/Voodoo (<-- can anyone approve this?)
"I am always looking for words that have some sort of energy. Usually the name just comes, from a magazine or somebody says something. I had waited for years while working on the album but it didn't come. In the lyrics there are words like "voltage" and "voodoo", which I found to be too common somehow.

I have always tried to choose titles which are kind of latin or something, which aren't english, which is a little funny because we europeans find latin to be sort of neutral language... But I found Volta... I don't recall how it came about, but I Googled it and found that it is both the name of a scientist in Italy who invented the battery, and also a river in Africa which had been built by men, and a lagoon built by men called Lake Volta. So several parts come into it"

— from the bjork.com Volta album special.

So I suppose they weren't alternative titles, just keywords for the theme of the album.

isn't 'Smith & Wesson' the official title for the track on the DITD dvd? If it is then it wouldn't be a working title..more like an alternative one. I kinda feel like they are two different songs ( :album5: & DITD)

well, this is how the song is called in the movie...

as it was massively altered for Selmasongs (You just did what you had to do --> You are gonna have to find out for yourself, etc.), it also got a new name(Scatterheart)...

If I remember right at the time :logo: felt that there should be a lullaby style song in the movie between Selma and Gene but either Lars disagreed or it just never made it into the film. Scatterheart is the lullaby which was reworded (or vice versa) to Smith and Wesson which is the type of gun used in the film.

Never knew therefore how Scatterheart is called on the DVD.

Just a question. Do we have an official source on Trance?
I've seen it being referred as To Lee, With Love, Nick on a few sites, mostly because of the Alexander McQueen video the song was made for, so I'm wondering if Trance is its actual title or if someone came up with it to replace To Lee, With Love, Nick...?

It was mentioned in one interview (don't remember where, but the info came from :logo: herself)
Update: it was in some Rolling Stone interview, but the link or article is gone. Bjork.fr has some info.

well, I think the video (incl. music from Björk) is called To Lee, With Love, Nick because it was made by Nick Knight... the Björk track itself is called Trance.

I think I remember seeing a photo that showed that the Tracklist for medulla was changed last minute
These three tracks were the difference:
8 Oceania
9 desired constellation
12 Komið

But In the final studio version we have now, Oceania and desired constellation switched places and Komið was completely removed off the album and made a b side.

Komið is such a good ender or a hidden track, I miss the era of her singing gibberish..

Komið and Oxygen is ny fave fave. Can she do those again? In the future... A Vulnicura Gibberish song
