They have geographical restrictions. An upload to imgur or any other image service that doesn't restrict resolution (so no tinypic please!) would be much appreciated.

Yes, they are. They are rare and gorgeous scans that I found a while ago and slightly optimized. Sharing them in addition to the covers.

Well, yeah, they're not widely available in HQ. I've been using the best versions from http://77island.bjork.info/ , but nothing there is bigger than 600x600.

Hopefully has better versions and is willing to share

I found it here. Now that you mention that, it might be fanmade, but it looks very official. I thought it was just a different version.

i love this thread

although some of the HQ covers posted here have the colors really altered or they aren't the real covers, but yeah it's hard to find pre-volta HQ images. for me the possibly maybe covers are the hardest to get in HQ without storage marks and with the real colors

Which ones do you mean? Yeah I'm having trouble finding the PM covers, I had some nice ones in my iTunes a while ago so I'm trying to find them again.

Thanks for posting this. I was meaning to do this a while back, but never got around to it.
I will have to spend some time with the larger "CMYK" files to see if I can do anything about the color. Are those links the source? (the files are not tagged as CMYK)

It's officially part of the artwork, but as an element, not as a cover. The only official covers are the main one and the pearl one...

I'm sorry, I guess I made a mistake and it's not a real cover. I've seen some pics of it on a vinyl and assumed it's an alternate cover. But after looking around a bit more, it's just the back of the regular one...
