I think you've got a complete list here, arunciluv!
i knew they collaborated but did they planned doing a whole record together? i didn't know that! do you know when did that happened?Album with plaid
https://soundcloud.com/pitchfork/pitchf ... -out-bjork around the 42:30 minute mark. Note flutes only per say, but she said she wanted another version of Utopia similar to vulnicura strings with more virtuoso flute playing, though it seemed liked it was only an idea vs a project that she scrapped
- an acoustic version of Utopia was only ever a fan-wish. there was never any word from Bjork or her team about this, no leaks of info even. so this is not an unreleased project
I completely missed this interview!https://soundcloud.com/pitchfork/pitchf ... -out-bjork around the 42:30 minute mark. as cited before, björk herself wanted to make another version of utopia, but i have to agree she might have never finished it. my thoery about it is that somehow this project became cornucopia (but the utopia era is not over yet so there's hope)- an acoustic version of Utopia was only ever a fan-wish. there was never any word from Bjork or her team about this, no leaks of info even. so this is not an unreleased project
her exact quote is "Yeah, a couple. There were three, maybe.”(https://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/ ... revolution) so your theory makes sense. but it could be 3 other songs as well. we may never know...- the only source we have on additional Vulnicura tracks is during the invisible woman interview (I believe that's where it's from). I always got the impression that the album as sent to journalists before the leak contained only the 6 narrative songs. In the article/interview, bjork says that she might add 3-4 songs to the track list. If my assumption is correct, that would mean there's at least 1 additional Vulnicura song. If I'm wrong then there are 3-4 songs left over...
this one i searched everywhere and the best i could find was this (https://mobile.twitter.com/bjork/status ... 2731808768). but why would she make a video for every track on vulnicura but atom dance? again: we may never know...- I believe screen shots for the HOT video also showed a menu selection for Atom Dance though there was never any mention of a director or info in any articles...
she said in a couple interviews that she wanted to release biophilia as a double album and i think that extra material comes from the scrapped projects that became biophilia (the michel gondry project, the natgeo project and the art house project)- the Biophilia visual project with Michel gondrey never happened, so there's nothing to release (perhaps sketches and proposals, but nothing concrete). The visual house/project morphed into the app album, so it's hard to say that this specifically is an unreleased project we may see at some point...
i'd say she never recorded it, but one more time: we may never know...- specifically from Vespertine, we know that both Who Is It and Vokuro were originally intended for inclusion in the album. Thanks to an early master of the album that popped up on ebay, we know at least Who Is it was recorded. the issue with vokuro was that it was intended for music box but the music box plate makers never finished the plate, so we don't know if Bjork recorded her vocals for Vespertine
They recorded a five-hour demo of jazz standards in a studio in LA including a cover of My Funny Valentine. There should be also a version of Like Someone in Love without all the street noises, which were added later during mixing to make the song flow better with the Milk Bar toilets version of There's More To Like Than This.- according to the book wow and flutter, the only songs bjork and corkie hale recorded were I Remember You and Like Someone In Love, both of which were released. so it's unknown if any additional material between the 2 exists.
Any source about this 5 hour demo? They recorded a five-hour demo of jazz standards in a studio in LA including a cover of My Funny Valentine. this name in particular gives me accordion solo vibes...i think coba #1 was a working title for some homogenic song that was ultimately released. it's more that we don't know which song it was :mrgreen
They made some proto-homogenic recordings that were rejected by bjorki knew they collaborated but did they planned doing a whole record together? i didn't know that! do you know when did that happened?Album with plaid
Yes omnibus was probably too niche and redundant as a project, glad we got the scorebook and the colored cassettes release instead
the first image is not showing upThere's at least 3 unreleased tracks from Homogenic, according to one of the work in progress CDr:
17 tracks were worked on, if we count all the b-sides released there's a total of 14 tracks from Homogenic, so 3 are missing.
i believe the Nick knight session from 2014 was intended to be an early vulnicura album cover but we have no official info (i kept the pic all these years):
Those 360 pictures were said to be experiments with VR by james iirc, but who knows you're right maybe they came from a different sessions- does anyone remember some news saying björk made a 360° video for each song on vulnicura in a different nature landscape? or am i tripping?
in the same note, i have a theory that these pics from the utopia boxset usb could be from a scrapped video (these were taken in 2016 i suppose)
- there's rumours about her recording a cover of "moving" by kate bush and "jericho" by joni mitchell in the debut days. were these ever confirmed?
- did ever anybody found out what "neptune" from was?
so explain that:99% sure about neptune
i remember someone mentioning back then that they were throwing all the singles into a normal carton box and sent them out like that.has ever been the promised boxset with all her singles released? https://web.archive.org/web/20060512182 ... cts_id=483

yep. It did cross my mind to get it as well, but i was way too skint for that. :heartbreak:i remember someone mentioning back then that they were throwing all the singles into a normal carton box and sent them out like that.has ever been the promised boxset with all her singles released? https://web.archive.org/web/20060512182 ... cts_id=483

that did happen and was available for quite a while - the intent was to clear out stock so they could move forward with the proper repackaged and redesigned collection.
some of y'all be saying shit on the internet for everybody to see and then complain about my post... anyways...
