so was primavera sound festival ....Is Coachella the one where every single concert is streamed?!
you're right.the original orkestral shows in Reykjavik didi have electronica and beats am i wrong? she should do that at coachella peoples mind would be absolutely blown
https://blog.youtube/news-and-events/yo ... ella-2023/For the first time, we will be going LIVE from ALL stages with SIX feeds across BOTH weekends of the iconic desert fest!
…
This year we will be live streaming Coachella from more stages than ever before with 6 feeds in action (double the amount from last year) across both weekends! Whether you're watching from home, abroad, or at parties with friends, anyone can tune into Coachella’s YouTube Channel, pick a stage, and watch the performances happening live with the rest of the fans.
…
If you can’t tune in live, the festival sets will be on repeat after the night’s final performance until the live show picks back up at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET the next day. Highlights from many of the weekend’s performances will be made available on demand, so be sure to check back here to rewatch your faves.
according to iceland music page on facebook, it’ll be streamed.unless she managed to sneak in a clause in her contract that prohibits this, björk’s orkestral show will be streamed live on youtube and “highlights” will be later available to watch on demand
I can't seem to find a time table anywhere, anyone know when she will play? 16th and 23rd, right?
that would be 4 am CET but iirc you can bring back the stream on youtubeCoachella posted the schedule on IG
Bjork will be on the main Coachella stage at 7:25pm - 8:40pm, Los Angeles time
i'm always down to support her but this is getting a bit too much secretive, especially since this is coachella and not a small intimate gig. I hope this is not the final schedule, I'd be so disappointed in her and frank, who i was so excited to watch live since he's one of my favorite artists of all time alongside herlooks like bjork (and frank ocean) won't be streamed
from the youtube description:
Sunday, April 16:
4:00pm - Livestream returns
4:05pm - GloRilla
4:45pm - Porter Robinson
6:00pm - Kali Uchis
[Rebroadcast]
its downright aggravatingi'm always down to support her but this is getting a bit too much secretive, especially since this is coachella and not a small intimate gig. exactly.
and a stupid decision for her career. most americans have forgotten about bjork so why turn down a concert film experience she/oli don't have to fund/find funding for that would only raise her profile?
https://pitchfork.com/features/festival ... 023-day-3/Can Coachella Even Handle Björk’s Emotional Intensity?
A master of elaborate masks and costumes, Björk knows how to shield herself off in fantastical ways while accessing the deep emotional truths within her music. Her armor last night on the main stage included spidery prosthetics on her face, and a dress that looked like a sculpture by glass artist Dale Chihuly on top, a leather mini in the middle, and a chain-link-fence with black mesh on the bottom. Think of her on the Vulnicura album cover done up for the symphony.
With Icelandic conductor Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason waving at an orchestra behind her, Björk played a career-spanning set for the heads, mixing ’90s hits with deeper cuts. But one thing that bummed me out as I stood near the front was how many people were making comments like “this scares me” or “I don’t even know anyone who likes this music.” (Uh, literally look around you?) How could you not be moved by “Hunter” gone full Hans Zimmer, or a baroque take on “Isobel”? Near the end, she stepped inside a plastic-y orb, before walking off to horror-movie strings. Mother has left the building. –Jill Mapes
So that's what that whaling comment was lolf u c k bjork.br for encouraging “stans” to complain about this on her social media posts. all they ever do is steal content and spread stupid rumors.

it doesn't happen very often that i go to a concert and think "this scares me", but oh my god would i be thrilled to find music that is actually scary!https://pitchfork.com/features/festival ... 023-day-3/But one thing that bummed me out as I stood near the front was how many people were making comments like “this scares me” or “I don’t even know anyone who likes this music.” (Uh, literally look around you?)
